Black cartoon characters have a massive fan base, which makes sense. Black people are funny and they can do anything! They’re also some of the most popular characters in cartoons today. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite black cartoon characters below:
The Boondocks
The Boondocks is a television series about two black brothers, Huey Freeman and Riley Matthews, who live in the fictional town of Woodcrest.
The show is inspired by the comic strip The Boondocks, created by Aaron McGruder.
Uncle Ruckus
Uncle Ruckus is a fictional character created by Aaron McGruder. He is based on the real-life criminal, William “Louie” Armstrong (1943–), who was known as “Uncle Louie” in Chicago’s Gangster Disciples gang. McGruder’s vision of Uncle Ruckus has him being a stereotypical black man: loud, angry and violent.
In this episode of The Boondocks, entitled “The Klan,” we learn that Uncle Ruckus has left his family to live with his girlfriend Nancy (played by Jada Pinkett Smith) at her grandmother’s house. When he returns home after being gone for two days, he finds out that she has been arrested by the police because she hit another woman who was trying to steal their car while they were parked in front of their house—which means they will most likely have to go through child services again if things don’t work out between them again soon enough!
D’Organ
D’Organ is a ugly black cartoon characters from the cartoon The Boondocks. He is a black man, and he’s also one of Huey Freeman’s friends and Riley Freeman’s friend, who often helps them out with their problems. He is also quite good at solving mysteries!
Kool-Aid Man
Kool-Aid Man is a cartoon character who is yellow, blue and red. He has a funny voice and can be good friends to kids of all ages. He also makes people feel happy when they drink his delicious Kool-Aid!
Kool-Aid Man is one of the most popular characters in cartoons today because he’s always there for you when you need him most (like when your parents tell you that playing with this toy will make them angry). Mauler the Mauler
Mauler, the black lawyer from The Boondocks, is a good friend of Huey Freeman. He’s also one of Riley Freeman’s best friends and he helps Riley solve problems that come up in their neighborhood.
Mauler is known for being very intimidating and sometimes even violent. He has a long criminal record including assault charges, kidnapping charges, drug possession charges and more!
Baby Bop
- Baby Bop is a character from the animated television series The Boondocks.
- Her name was inspired by the song “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot, and she is voiced by Tara Strong.
- She is the daughter of Huey Freeman and Riley Freeman, who are both black characters in this show.
